Fruits can be fleshy (like a ripe tomato) or dry (like a hazelnut). In this mini-workshop and walk\, we will learn about the differences between fruits and vegetables\, discuss some of the different types of fruits and how they are derived\, then go for a walk to see some of the diversity of fruit types at the Arboretum. DESCRIPTION:Qigong\, pronounced “chi gong\,” has both psychological and physical benefits. Individuals practice body movement\, breath\, and posture in order to optimize over all health and well-being. Qigong was developed thousands of years ago as a part of Chinese medicine. Instructor Thomas will guide participants through breathing patterns and gentle movement underneath the trees of the Arboretum.
