DESCRIPTION:Did you know that all flowering plants produce fruits? Did you know that blueberries and watermelons are true berries\, but strawberries and blackberries are not? Fruits can be fleshy (like a ripe tomato) or dry (like a hazelnut). In this mini-workshop and walk\, we will learn about the differences between fruits and vegetables\, discuss some of the different types of fruits and how they are derived\, then go for a walk to see some of the diversity of fruit types at the Arboretum.
