In Japanese Buddhist tradition\, dancing is a way to welcome the spirits of our ancestors and the celebrate life. Dancers circle the yagura\, a high wooden bandstand for the musicians and singers. Individuals practice body movement\, breath\, and posture in order to optimize over all health and well-being. Qigong was developed thousands of years ago as a part of Chinese medicine.
