Parking at Washington Park

Washington Park has several paid parking lots throughout the Park; however, spaces fill quickly during busy times, especially on weekends and sunny days. You can check real-time parking availability before you head out—or consider taking transit or rideshare to skip parking stress entirely.

Parking Availability

Washington Park has several paid parking areas, including three large lots located at the South Entrance, off exit 72 on Highway 26, near the Oregon Zoo and World Forestry Center. Every major attraction in the Park is accessible via the Free Shuttle Loop, which picks up near these lots.

Parking Cost & How to Pay

Washington Park uses a pay-by-plate system, so you’ll need to enter your license plate number when you pay. Rates and hours may change during special events.

  • Hours: 9:30am–8pm daily

  • Rates: $2.40 per hour, $9.60 maximum per day

At pay stations: Pay with coins, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
