Moreover\, they pack some serious pollination power! Active in early spring before even bumble bees are flying\, they are arguably the best pollinators of early-blooming fruit trees and other spring-blooming natives\, making them the ideal residents of urban gardens and orchards.

Volunteers monitor the timing of specific events in a plant’s life cycle (full bloom\, fruiting\, leaf fall\, etc.)\, record their observations\, and then share their data with BudBurst.

Join this class to learn the clues to search for that make plant identification more manageable in the colder months.
