Ohara School of Ikebana Oregon Chapter presents Impressions of Autumn – Ornamental Grasses. Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, has been translated as “living flowers” or “giving life to flowers,” and is unique from other approaches to flower arrangement. Come see arrangements featuring a wide variety of ornamental grasses including miscanthus and pampas during the special two-day show, held in the Yanai Classroom in the Jordan Schnitzer Japanese Learning Arts Center at Portland Japanese Garden.
