Working With Mason Bees

Keeping bees doesn’t have to be a sticky (or sting-y) situation. Mason bees are gentle, solitary bees that nest in holes we can easily provide. In this workshop we will be discussing basic mason bee biology, their habitat needs, maintenance requirements, and how to avoid misinformation and gimmicky products that could throw a wrench in your venture. We’ll also demonstrate setting up a mason bee habitat at the Arboretum.
