On Saturday, November 4, World Forestry Center will host a discussion with the six Portland-based artists featured in our current exhibition. Obscurity: Life Inside the Smoke explores society’s relationship to wildfire smoke through a dynamic mix of sculpture, printmaking, painting, and installation. This event will include an hour-long discussion in the Discovery Museum followed by a tour of the exhibition. Artists will discuss their individual relationships with wildfire smoke and how that relationship informed the creation of their artworks. Please reserve your free ticket as attendance is limited.
