The shakuhachi bamboo flute is among the most recognizable of Japan’s traditional instruments. Join us at the Cultural Corner from 1:15 – 2:30pm for an performance of this uniquely expressive flute by Patrick Johnson, who has studied shakuhachi for over 25 years.
He is also the founder and chief instructor of the Seattle Shakuhachi Study Group, a flute dojo located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle.
