Cyanotype Inspired Ceramic Plates

Join Angela from The Nature Atelier for a ceramic workshop that celebrates the beauty of plants. This workshop draws inspiration from cyanotype prints to create functional plates using a variety of plant clippings. Participants will learn how to handbuild plates using pottery forms. After the plates are shaped, we will explore creating unique plant prints using foliage, clay slip, and underglaze. Traditional cyanotype blue hues will be available along with green, yellow, and black. All materials are provided, but feel free to bring plant clippings from your garden to include in your designs.
