(a Portland-based trailblazing glass art manufacturer at the forefront of glass art innovation), to provide a look into the fascinating medium of kiln-formed glass and the work of Kaneko.

Leap into the new year with Japan-inspired textile projects! Portland Japanese Garden is partnering with textile artisan Judilee Fitzhugh to provide workshops that will have its participants make charming pieces ranging from rabbit bags in honor of the Year of the Rabbit to leaf-printed notebooks.
Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, has been translated as “living flowers” or “giving life to flowers.” Join us from 1:15-2:15pm for an Ikebana presentation by Nana Bellerud from the Sogetsu School of Ikebana in the Jordan Schnitzer Japanese Arts Learning Center.
