Do I have to pay to park?
You can pay-to-park close to Hoyt Arboretum’s Visitor Center.
Pay per hour: $2.40
Pay per day: $9.60
Be sure to note your license plate when paying for parking. You can pay at parking meters or pay-by-phone using the Parking Kitty app.
Remember to bring your bags, electronics, and keys with you, and be sure to lock up before leaving your parked car.
Trip Tip: Avoid the stress of parking and take TriMet to Washington Park. If you live close enough, walking or biking might also be great alternate transportation options.

Yes! It is absolutely free of charge to access and enjoy the trails in Hoyt Arboretum. If you’re interested in exploring more, Hoyt Arboretum has a great calendar full of different free and paid upcoming events that you should check out!
How can I become a member?
A donation of $35 or more more makes you a member of Hoyt Arboretum Friends. You can also become a member by joining Hoyt Arboretum’s Evergreen Circle with a monthly donation of $6 or more.

Does Hoyt Arboretum offer tours?
Yes! In addition to many classes and workshops, Hoyt Arboretum offers free public tours every Sunday at 11am from April through October. Sign up day-of in the Visitor Center. Reference their upcoming events page and schedule accordingly!
Can I rent spaces in Hoyt Arboretum for an event I'm planning?
Yes! Hoyt Arboretum has four beautiful outdoor spaces close to downtown Portland available for weddings, picnics, retreats, and other events for groups up to 100 people, as well as one indoor meeting space available to rent.
