Parking Validation for Families Living on a Low Income*
In partnership with Portland Parks & Recreation, Explore Washington Park can distribute a limited number of parking codes valid for 2.5 hours of parking in Washington Park. These are available for individuals and families that qualify. While supplies last. Limit 1 per household.

Portland Japanese Garden
Arts for All
In partnership with the Arts for All program, the Portland Japanese Garden offers $5 tickets for Oregon and Washington residents who participate in the SNAP program and provide their Oregon Trail or Washington Quest cards (or another proof of receipt) upon arrival.
Visitors are allowed two (2) $5 adult tickets per card and up to 4 accompanying children (under 17) for free. Tickets must be purchased in person.

Moon Bridge Membership
The Portland Japanese Garden offers a $20 annual membership for Oregon and Southwest Washington families receiving public income-related assistance such as:
- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Woman, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Family (TANF)
- Housing assistance (e.g. Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher, Low Income Energy Assistance)
- Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) and/or Medicaid.
The Moon Bridge Membership includes 12 months of unlimited admission for two adults and up to 8 kids ages 6-17 (children 5 and under are free).
