Does the Free Shuttle Loop ever shut down?

The Washington Park Free Shuttle Loop will close close completely during inclement weather.

The Free Shuttle route will change in times when Park construction requires road(s) to close. In this case, be sure to keep track of our Park Construction page for updates.

Are there any fees associated with hopping on and off the Free Shuttle Loop?

The Washington Park Free Shuttle Loop is just that: Free for the use of the public! Its entire purpose is to help visitors make the most of their time in Washington Park and to connect all of Washington Park’s incredible destinations.

Can I bring my pet on the Free Shuttle Loop?

Only service animals are allowed on the Washington Park Free Shuttle Loop.

(This is also true for Portland Japanese Garden, World Forestry Center, and the Oregon Zoo.)

What are the Washington Park Free Shuttle Loop rules?

We want to keep you safe. Please be aware of the following:

  • Pets are not allowed with an exception for service animals.
  • Drivers will only make stops at designated Free Shuttle stops.
  • Smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the Shuttle.

Is the Washington Park Free Shuttle Loop wheelchair accessible?

Yes! All Washington Park Free Shuttles are wheelchair accessible.
