Drawing Fundamentals in Nature

In this class, learn the fundamentals of drawing while immersing yourself in Hoyt Arboretum. Whether you are a drawing beginner, want to strengthen your foundations, or tell people you “can’t even draw a stick figure,” you are welcome in this class. Over the course of two and a half hours and about 1 mile, we will cover topics like line control, proportion, form, value, and composition, while discussing botany, ecology, and plant evolution. Leave the class with the confidence to start a sketchbook, draw your travels, or take more art classes with Hoyt Arboretum Friends. Registration is required on the Hoyt Arboretum website.
