Portland Japanese Garden is delighted to welcome internationally acclaimed artist Jun Kaneko (b. 1942-). Kaneko, recently honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Sculpture Center, has made major contributions to the field of sculptural art on a global scale, exploring the relationships between art, nature, and people with the bold and placement of his works.

Our holiday lights display starts early with two festive nights for the 21+ crowd. Visitors can sample local beers, ciders and hard seltzers while strolling among a forest of brightly lit trees and dazzling 3-D light sculptures.
