When the root is deep, there is no need to fear the wind. Many tai chi moves use images from nature—stable as a pine, flowing like a river, hands moving as clouds. Enjoying tai chi in the Arboretum allows us to connect deeply to that imagery.

Foundations For Us is a beginner friendly Asana class that focuses on and integrates foundational Yogic philosophy. Slow, and intentional this class is geared to guide you deeper within yourself closer to union (Yoga). Wear something warm and comfy, bring any props you might need and prepare to go inwards.

Join us for a free musical performance featuring shinobue flute and a piano performance by Maido Mind. This cultural performance will be held from 1:15 to 2:30pm in the Jordan Schnitzer Japanese Arts Learning Center.
